Wednesday Evening Bible Studies for Women Only

A Journey Through the Book of Acts

Wednesdays, 6:30-8:00 p.m. beginning August 20 for 16 weeks in the Hearthside Room
No cost
Led by Crystal Schwartz and Christi Schroader

This study of Acts incorporates a worship time, teaching time and small group discussion. There is no “homework” to do. You will receive a true blessing by connecting with new and mature believers. This time of worship and Bible study will challenge you to grow deeper in your personal walk with Christ and to genuinely experience a sense of community with other believers. The study will move through the book of Acts by exploring the Lord’s work in the early days of the church.

Anointed, Transformed, Redeemed

Wednesdays, 6:15-8:00 p.m. beginning October 8 for 6 weeks in room 3307
Cost: $13
Led by Marci Butler

This Study of David contains the audio and video portions of the Deeper Still conference featuring Beth Moore, Priscilla Shirer, and Kay Arthur.

You’ll laugh with them, cry with them, and learn to love God with them. These authors' messages are divided into three segments, two lessons each. Each segment focuses on the life of David at a different stage of his life: as a young man (by Priscilla Shirer), as a middle-aged man (by Beth Moore), and as a man facing the final third of his life (by Kay Arthur).

Breaking Free

Wednesdays, 6:00-8:00 p.m. beginning September 3 for 10 weeks in room 2213
Cost: $15
Led by Melissa Gay

Beth Moore leads you through a study of the Scriptures to discover the transforming power of Christian freedom. Based on Isaiah 61:1-4, this in-depth study draws parallels between the captive Israelites and today’s believers. Scripture is used to point out the benefits of our relationship with God and shows you how to remove obstacles that hinder that relationship. As you identify spiritual strongholds in your life, you will progress on the journey toward greater freedom in Christ.

Frazzled Female

Wednesdays, 6:00-7:00 p.m. beginning October 8 for 6 weeks in room 2217
Led by Vanessa Jacobs and Carolyn MacDonald

This thought-provoking, yet light-hearted, study helps women discover practical, biblical help to confront issues that otherwise leave them discouraged. It helps participants develop biblical skills to handle stressful situations; grow in their relationship with Jesus; and ultimately experience peace, joy, and a saner lifestyle.
