College and Career Ministry

FUSION, the College and Career Ministry of First Baptist Church Hendersonville exists to bring honor to the Name of God in a college-age generation by living passionate lives of worship, truth, and love. Fusion is a coming together of different elements, producing much energy. This is highly symbolic of the vision that we have for this ministry – joining together with Christ and with each other to be a source of energy for the college-age generation in our community.

The college years and those immediately following are a time when many things are coming together in your life -- your passions, your experiences, your talents, abilities, and gifts, your relationships, etc. -- fusing together to make you into who God has created you to be, to fulfill the purpose He has planned for you. (See Ephesians 4:1-16; Jeremiah 29:11-13).

Weekly Events

College and Career Sunday Bible Study: 10:45 a.m., Room 201, Family Ministries Center (upstairs). Each week, we go in-depth into the Word, as Jason teaches in a relevant, interactive, expository style, applying the Truth of Scripture to our everyday lives.

The Living Room: Sundays at 9:15 a.m., in the Wilson Fellowship Hall. Modern Worship, Ancient Truth. Join us each week for an awesome worship experience designed specifically for college students and twenty-somethings.

The MOVEMENT: College: Each week we will meet from 6:30-8:00 p.m. for a small group discussion/study that challenges us to think outside the box and get outside the walls of the church. Then we'll go hang out for coffee or food as a large group. The last Wednesday night of each month will be a MOVEMENT project in the community where we can be a part of something greater than ourselves.

Upcoming Events
