Adoptions of His Perfect Timing
"Having predestinated us unto the adoption of children by Jesus Christ to Himself, according to the good pleasure of His will, to the praise and glory of His grace, wherein He hath made us accepted in the beloved." Ephesians 1:5-6 (KJV)
Mission Statement: To provide families a Christ-centered environment to fellowship, support, and spread the blessing of adoption.
Objectives:
- Embrace and teach our own adoption into God's family through the death, burial and resurrection of Jesus Christ.
- Provide a support system and means of education to families who have, are in the process of, or interested in adoption.
- Encourage families to consider adoption as a means of increasing their family as well as provide a viable alternative to abortion.
- Encourage the church body to support through prayer the ministry of adoption, families who are adopting, and orphaned children throughout the world.
Meeting times for A.D.O.P.T. Ministry: first Sunday of each month from 5:00 - 6:15 p.m. in room 2231 of the Weekley Building.
