The Wave is a 10-week program that offers a variety of fun-filled activities in a safe, Christian environment. The primary focus of The Wave is to encourage and disciple each camper as they grow in their relationship with the Lord! Each week has a unique theme filled with exciting activities, events, trips and dress-up days! Campers rotate through activities including recreation, Bible study, music, cooking and more! Campers swim every Friday at the Sumner County YMCA. The Wave is a GREAT opportunity that your child will not want to miss!
The Wave is open to all students who have completed K-8th grade, regardless of church membership. Campers are split into 3 sub-camps that operate on their own daily schedule: Surf 1 (K-2nd), Surf 2 3rd-5th), and Surf 3 6th-8th). Campers are then placed in a group with other campers of the same grade.
Registration for the 2009 summer will begin on January 12, 2009. Registration packets will be available at the front desk of the Family Ministry Center, the First Baptist Church main office, and various other promotions areas throughout First Baptist. Soon, you may also download an application online. Space is available on a first come, first served basis so early registration is highly encouraged! Don’t miss your chance to “Catch The Wave!”

Hours: 7:00 a.m.-6:00 p.m. Monday-Friday
Registration Fee: $50 before April 14, 2009, $65 after April 14, 2009
Weekly Fee: $125 per child (including $20 weekly deposits paid at time of registration)
