Taekwondo is the Korean style of martial arts that originated in the early 17th century as a military drill. It was brought to the United States in 1955. Taekwondo means “the way of the hand and foot.” Taekwondo has no connection with Eastern religion. Actually, Taekwondo stresses self-motivation, patience, discipline, physical fitness, and a way of life that compliments the Christian lifestyle.
Anybody can attend Taekwondo at the FMC, but very young children will be taken on a trial basis.
