Journey Camp

Boys and girls grades 3-5 are invited to participate in "Celebration Station" - Journey Week. This is a week-long overnight camping experience that campers will talk about for months and remember for a lifetime. Children will experience praise and worship, age-graded Bible study, missions emphasis, recreation, arts, crafts, archery, campfire, hiking, scavenger hunt and much more. Each camper will choose activities of interest.

If an individual or group would like to participate in the talent show on Thursday night you must bring instruments, music, CD or other items needed to perform.

Here are some important changes from previous years:

1. We will only attend one summer camp this year with a limit of 65 kids and 10 adult chaperones.
2. Chaperones will be accepted based on the first registered adults to fulfill this ratio (gender specific). As kids register, we will be able to determine the number of male and female chaperones needed. If we have remaining openings after children have registered and chaperones have been assigned, we can fill them with adults at the cost of $250 each.

Here's what you need to bring to Journey Camp:

• Bible, notepad and pen
• Personal toiletry items
• Linens (sleeping bag), pillow, towels and washcloths
• One piece swimsuit
• Comfortable shoes for walking and or hiking and shoes for water activities
• Sunscreen (we will be outside a lot)
• Spending money - we recommend you bring around $30.00 daily (camp store is open daily) plus extra for track fees (place in envelope with track and child's name on it)
• Flashlight (optional)
• Disposable camera (optional)
• Refillable water bottle (optional)

No electronic devices are permitted on campus. This includes cell phones for campers...there is no cell phone service on campus.

Travel Information: Meet us in the parking lot closest to the Children's Ministry entrance. Leaving church on Monday at 11:30 a.m. (child must eat lunch before you arrive). Returning Friday by 2:00 p.m. Please be on time!
